Recently, I had the opportunity to stay at Pantages Hotel Toronto in downtown Toronto and my experience was mixed. The hotel was well-located, with easy access to many of the city’s popular attractions, including shopping, dining, and entertainment options.
The rooms were basic but clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and sufficient amenities. However, the room furnishings were outdated and in need of a refresh, which detracted from the overall experience. The in-room technology was also limited, making it challenging to stay connected during my stay.
The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, but not particularly helpful or knowledgeable about the city and its offerings. The on-site amenities were limited, with a small gym that was not well-equipped and a limited breakfast option.
Despite its central location, the hotel was quite noisy, with street noise and noise from other guests making it difficult to sleep. Additionally, the parking facilities were expensive and not convenient.
Overall, I would rate my stay at this hotel in downtown Toronto a 6.5 out of 10. The central location and clean rooms were the highlights of my stay, but the outdated furnishings, limited amenities, and noisy environment detracted from the overall experience. While this hotel may be a decent option for a budget-friendly stay in the city, I would suggest looking for alternative options with better amenities and a more peaceful environment.
